I just got back from the St. louis County Fair and Airshow:

St Louis Missouri Airshow

Man I cou8ld not believe my eyes when I got there. They had on display one of THREE remaining air worthy Constellations, and the ONLY one with a fully restored passenger cabin. I paid my admission to walk through it and it was as if I jumped back in history. It was an AMAZING bird.

They also had a B-25 on display (forgot to get pics of it *smacks head*

And for the show they had several aircraft including the Blue Angels and one show of inspiration that actually brought tears to my eyes.

The P-51 Heritage Flight where an F-15 Eagle joins it. It was truely amazing. Just wow

Performers were:

AeroShell Aerobatic Team
Flight For Diabetes (Diabetic Aerobatic Pilot-Awesome job too)
US Army Golden Knights
US Navy Blue Angels
B-1B Lancer Bomber (requested)
C-17 Globemaster III (requested)
F-15 Eagle East Coast Demo Team
F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet
P-51 Heritage Flight
T6A Texan II Air Force Demo Team

Man I am ONE HAPPY GUY!

Now to find out if any of my pictures came out on my cheap digital camera.

Oh, you lucky guy! lol you got to see the Super Hornet... Mmm, I miss my baby. lol   Hafta wait another year to see her new demo... btw, how was it?

That would be cool to see a Connie too.  I remember two years ago they had a B-17G and a B-24 up here in Seattle and my girlfriend and I got to walk through both of them... absolutly amazing!  The planes look so huge on the outside, but anyone over 5 feet tall cannot even stand up straight inside either one!  Amazing!

And speaking of which, I should upload some of the pics I took of those... I got them to look really old too.  When taking pics of older aircraft, I like to (after I scan them) make them black and white, and "age" the pics as much as possible... just makes them look more authentic and the way they should be.

The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&www.fight2flyphoto.com&&&&Canon RebelXT&&Canon 18-55mm&&Sigma 10-20mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 100-300mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 50-500mm F/4-6.3
