To add details to a repaint?
Meaning I have some little pieces of "artwork" of various kinds I would like to add to a repaint I'm trying to do.
Sort of like little photos? (hell I don't know what to call them)
Decals! Yeah that word describes them the best!!
What is the easiest way to "apply" them to a repaint.
I have been using PSP8 for my basic photo edits, and know it can be used with repaints but time doesn't allow too much "learning" and there is a lot that program can do., I have also downloaded Pixia to check it out (haven't yet).
I do have FS Repaint, haven't played around too much with it yet so uncertain if I can appy my "decals" with it.

So basically my question is: I have some cool decals, how do I get them on my plane?

Convert the artwork into a bitmap and edit out the background in PSP. Make the background one colour, say pure Red (Make sure that no parts of the artwork contain the same colour). Once that's done, use the Selection tool and drag it over the entire picture, then set the tranparency by clicking on Selections ---> Modify --->Transparent Color. There is an option of setting the transparency to either White, Black, Red, Green or Blue. Select the one that corresponds with the background colour. Then copy and paste the artwork into the texture as a New Layer. Then use the Mover tool and move the artwark to where you want it to be Grin

Edit: Use the Layer Palette if you need to tone it down a little 8)
