The weather doesn't look too promising right now. All dark & threatening. They say it will improve by this afternoon. We shall see. Roll Eyes

I know what I see from the shots Doug, but what I don't see is how many is it taking for you to come up with these fine shots........?

Is the camera working out fine or will we see better performance once you have used it for a month or so ?......This long zoom is showings its value with your aerial shots.....stops the props well with a fast shutter speed. Is this your choice or an auto function due to the bright day ?

I know there is a learning interval with every new tool, and you are giving it (the new cam) a workout this weekend !....

Great stuff !

As you will appreciate Ken I've taken a lot of shots this weekend. I must have dumped almost as many as I kept to save memory space. You won't believe how many shots I got of a nice clear piece of sky. OK if you like skyscapes I suppose.  Roll Eyes

It was really asking a bit as I've only had the camera a few days & this was my first chance of any practice worth mentioning. I wasn't too confident & I'm pleasantly surprised at how many are worth keeping.

The quality is fine. The problem is me. I'm not too happy with a couple of things. I still can't get on with that viewfinder & just hope I can get used to it. Also the shutter delay seems to vary which makes it very difficult for action photos of aircraft. Maybe there's a setting I don't know about. I used the Sport mode yesterday but wasn't too happy with the props in some of the shots. I thought the shutter speed might be a little too fast so I used fully automatic today. I haven't noticed much difference.

Thanks for the kind words. You didn't see the ones I really wanted but didn't get. Angry Smiley

PS. Some of the static shots were taken with my F401 - Old Faithful.
