I went and bought it....yessir I did. After many who know my affinity for payware, told me it was a must have, I said...hmmmm OK. Well It IS a fantastic bird. I can take off, but I sure as **** can't land it yet lol.

Methinks its manual reading time. So without further adieu

Maiden flight Boeing colors

...

American Airlines

...

Brightness in the fuselage is from lightning in the area as I was piloting her around a thunderstorm

...

Southwest Airlines

...

And into the sunset she goes

...

Comments always welcomed good or bad Wink

Again speedbird, set flaps to 5 degrees, release parking brake and there you go.  She will be flyable without the horn.

All it takes to land this thing is a good feel for the aircraft.  Fly her by hand over and over and over.  Once you get the feel for how to fly it manually, THEN go and learn all the systems and stuff.

Practice some pattern work.  Start a scenario with center tank emtied, and then fill the wing tanks at approx. 40% each.  Then fly some patterns, or slew back and set yourself up on a final approach.  Do an ILS or whatever you please but fly it by hand.  She flies like a dream.  Make small, easy and steady adjustments with the controls and the throttles.  On final, set up around 2-3 degree nose-up pitch, set flaps at 30 degrees and have your power set between 50-60% N1 and adjust from there.  Shoot for 130-140 kts.  The rest is just like basic flying (when to flare, etc)

I do this almost daily when I'm bored and when don't have enough time to do a full flight.  It has helped me pollish my handflying skills with the PMDG and I cannot remember the last time I had a screwy landing...aside from severe weather.

Savas, I collect 1/18 as well all non Nascar, all late 60's early 70's muscle cars.  I also have over 2000 HotWheels.  I have recently started collecting OCC Choppers in 1/18 and 1/10 scale
