I'm not sure on the reverse thrusters, but I do know that at no-nodes there is the XB-70 manual, its in 5 parts and should have all the answers and illustrations you want.

I think the manual at no-nodes is the genuine pilots manual...

I can remember quite distinctly from when I stood on my tip toes, that there were only afterburner nozzles on the J-93's which I touched.......I have no recollection of any reverser buckets/assembly.......I know they used a braking chute to help bleed off speed during rollout..........

Bones, not just the X-15, but also a few others like the X-3 Stiletto, the X-5 swing wing, FSW X-29........oh yeh the lifting body X-24......that little parasite fighter Goblin and the B-36 which carried it......gee, then there was the Streak Eagle, an original B-1A, an F-117, a fuselage of Bock's Car B-29........ah, the memories........
...................not rubbin it in, honest.
Hey, BTW, I'm heading for Ontario in late Sept, maybe I can divert to Ohio one more time, just to get the shots I missed the first time..........

I went there this summer, it's only a few hours from my house. 8) 8) 8) 8) it was awesome. They've got three hangars now, and they're building a fourth, plus the presidential hangar and the Research and development hangar.....and it's free to boot.
