can you mix 333 & 400 Rzam??? (Read 142 times)

the reason being is that i have some of each..... can i use them both or will it screw the lot up??

You have to use same speed and type with RAM, although you can have different capacities.

You should be able to mix 333 & 400mhz RAM just remember, the RAM will run at the LOWER of the two speeds - if it'll run at all.

My Asus motherboard will happily mix'n match PC2100 RAM & PC3200 RAM, it just forces the whole lot to run @ 2100 speeds. I have another motherboard, (an M.S.I) alas, this won't run at all if I mix RAM sticks. - Suck it & see as they say......
