FS9 does not recgonize all airlines as some have unique names. EX SOUTHWEST has a different call sign sorry can not rember the name. But ATC uses the name that is in the aircraft cfg file you should find a line that looks like the following: atc_airline=DELTA you must have a line like this for ATC otherwise it will not have one & ATC will either use your flight number or tail number providing you have the lines in your aircraft cfg file. If ATC does not know what to call you I have heard them use experamental.
So you are not missing a file but you need to know the call sign of the airline & fs9 might recgonize that. But I could be mistaken on that as I am not sure what call signs FS9 recognizes or will not recognize.

If you download the Microsoft Voicepack SDK, i believe they have a list of FS2004 ATC compatible callsigns. Also, http://www.simviation.com/fs2002misc1.htm . At the top there there's a list of real world callsigns. Hope that helps.

Mahalingam,

Some airlines "callsign" used by ATC is quite a bit different than the "company name".  Maybe that is confusing you?  Are they also calling you "Experimental" at times?  Is the aircraft in question a re-paint of a stock plane?  Is it an add on aircraft?  What airline/livery is it?

Gogo,

The ATC call sign for FedEx is "FedEx"..... I fly a number of FedEx aircraft.  But in the aircraft.cfg file you have to have the ID spelled exactly correctly as the program expects....otherwise it doesn't recognize it.  If your FedEx aircraft is not getting recognized correctly by fs ATC....... check the reference list mentioned above and change it to the "official spelling".
