okay, so i got some type of nvidia card, but thats not really important.  i had a tech guy over my place and he downloaded some new drivers for my card. two problems-first is that no matter what i do, the shadows are solid black.  i cant get them back to lookin like normal fs shadows, and believe me ive tried. the second is a bit more complicated.  when i have anti-aliasing on, the default 2d panel like, zooms in. its REALLY weird. all i see is the panel at 5x magnification, so all i see is the very top corner. also, all of the 2d modules like the radio stack and gps are all zoomd in too.  the vc is fine. my question is, is there any way to uninstall drivers? i went to system restore but the only checkpoint for july was made the day after i installed the drivers and the system restore screen wont let me go before july! any ideas?

My drivers for the TNT2 Pro come in the control panel uninstall options as NVIDEA Display Drivers. Un-install from there. I dunno if thats available in XP, im on 98. As for the panel, have it zoomed to 5* (or anyhting else) and press backspace. Should reset you to 1*. Other wise use the - and = keys to do it.

The best way to un-install drivers is too use Driver Cleaner

http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

It is a free download and works like a charm, just read the instructions and all should go well Wink

thanks, but i knew people would misunderstand what i was saying about tthe panel being zoomed. its not my outside view-its the actual PANEL ITSELF. its not something you can do with the game manually, you have to screw it up. anyway, thx for all the replies, ill get to work once i touchdown in san diego.

I understood what you meant by the "zoomed panel" but your question was " is there anyway to uninstall drivers?" as is the title of you post. Roll Eyes

I had the same problem by updating my Nivida drivers, I was installing the new on the old and everything was getting messed up including the "zoomed panels".
I then posted a similar question and was told about driver cleaner, it removes the drivers completly and allows a fresh install of newer ones.
So I would give that a try. If the problem still exsist let us know and someone here will be able to help.  Wink
