Is that a fully operational 47, or one recalibred for .22 rimfire?

It was a working AK-47 that uses 7.62mm cartages.

P.S Yes, there is nothing like fried mushrooms, bacon, barrels and lead shots.

Very nice, I especially like the M1 Grand-I have been wanting to get one but they are so expensive.

I do have a 1937 (maybe 38 ) German Mauser (model 98 ).  It's not original-its been sportorized and bored to 30.06 and I hunt with it.  It's an awesome weapon.  I'll have to post some shots of my weapons one of these days.

The M1 Grand was expensive, he picked it up at a sale for $700. It was made in 1939, and was used in WWII.

If I get into this type of thing, I just might get an M-14.

If I remember right, M-14s are just as expensive as M-1s if not more.  I was talking to my dad the other day and he really wants to get one but doesn't have the money at the moment.  It was his favorite weapon when he was in the military.

The guy that took me out shooting said there are cheap M-14s being made in China. Don’t know how much they are going for, but if the price is right I just might be able to pick one up next year. If not I'll find some other rifle. It would probably depend on how interested I get in making shooting a hobby.
