Hi guys, I lost disk one of my Combat Flight Simulator 2 yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrs ago, but this afternoon, I was nosing around my basement, and in a card board box, I found a dusty old Hard Drive. Didn't know what was on it, but loaded into my Xp anyway.

Turned out it was from my HP about 3-4 years ago. That pc got fried (literally, it got too slow so I blew a firecracker up there Grin) but the HD didn't suffer any damage Cheesy. And guess what I find on it, a fully installed version of CFS2 Shocked Shocked Shocked.

Now I copied all the file over on to my XP HD, and got out disk 2 and fired it up, and it WORKED Cheesy yay!

So are there any good addons? What I'm looking for has to have a decent VC, don't care about everything else too much. And anyone know of a no cd patch?

Cheers
Jeff........happily enjoying CFS2 and 3 now Grin

The no-CD crack is available here in CFS2 Misc. downloads, about page 8 I think...
As for planes, well the Paul Rebuffat Spits are a must, you'll find them all over on Pauls site http://myzone59.ath.cx/accueil.php3 (telecharger is French for download), and the Wallace and Gromit model we have here (also in misc.) is a hoot Grin

There´s a nice Ju-88, convertet from CFS3 by K. Malinowski (Must be here at SimV). And a P-47, too. And you could do the P-51 by Andrew C. Wai(Try it at Flighstim), or some of the Bf-109 from Ice Mauro, here http://digilander.libero.it/IceMauro/, or some planes by Paul Rebuffat, they are all well, have a VC and seem to be realistic.

Lol, I will check that out, and by the way, do you know of any heavy bombers for cfs2? And will CFS2 aircrafts work in fs9?

Cheers

We've got some nice bombers right here, take your pick.
As for porting to FS9 some will, some won't. All Paul R.s Spits do, and most later models will. Only the early ones tend to have difficulties... Just head over to http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft1.htm (there are only 86 pages) Grin
