Will the problems ever end ...? (Read 349 times)

After simming my way thru ALL Microsofts sims, battling with the advances in computer development, introducing dozens of persons to the thrills of sim-flighting,  I decided to try the default Piper Cub around my local circuit.    You may ask why anyone would want to fly the Cub but that's another story - ask Ossie.

As I like to record my journeys I took a few shots as I went passed my local Mountain and what did I get .... ?

When will the bugs and problems ever work themselves out ?

Hi Bazza. There's nothing wrong with the Piper Cub. It's a real aeroplane. Delightful. Grin

I checked out your shot. Here it is if you can't figure it out. http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/Buggy1.jpg
Have you added any mesh or other 3rd party scenery to that area? It looks to me that you need a Flatten or Exclude switch.

I find that fixing the occasional bugs makes life much more interesting. I would soon get fed up with this hobby if everything was perfect. Wink

Thanks Hagar .............certain amount of tongue in cheek there............

Went thru a small power "outage"  there, not sure what happened, everything went a bit weird - like the buildings sticking out of the hills. ..... currently trying to find WIN XP on my gear ...    Hope if anyone is interested they can take your "url" to click on  ...

OK. I thought you would prefer to fix it yourself. Here it is.

I'll remove it if & when you fix it in your original topic. Wink

Bazza. Tell  me the location & I'll check it out myself later. If the mountain is supposed to be there I reckon an Exclude switch added to Scenery.cfg should remove those flying buildings.
