Lately I have been doing long haul flights in the A340/330.
Those flights include
KORD - ESSA
CYYZ - EDDF
VHHH - LFPG
EHAM - RJAA
OMAA - LEPA

So mostly 10hour+ flights over many continents.  Smiley

Anway, time for a change, here are some pics from a recent flight between Copenhagen and Berlin Tegel (EKCH - EDDT)

Departing EKCH runway 12
...

Close up shots of the Canadair Regional Jet and it's sleek design.
...

...

...

Cockpit shot, enroute to Tegel
...

For most part of the flight there were few clouds, a good day for flying.
...

However...there is something about me and bad weather in germany. Last time I was here with the A340 the weather conditions weren't all that appealing, I guess those thunderstorms decided to stick around because that's exactly what was waiting for me and the little CRJ in Berlin. Here we are, intercepting the localizer for 26R

...

And finally the wobbly landing shot, it wasn't easy to maintain a steady course  Grin

...

I'll stick around in Berlin for some days and harrass my ex-girlfriend  Grin

Very Nice Nexus!!
Love that "glow" in the cockpit from the lighting system!
My fav is the last shot!
After flying around in the big guys, this was probably like driving a sports car for you!  Wink

It may be surprising to hear, but the CRJ 200 offers not much improved climb rate over the A340, in fact above FL250 the CRJ really struggles...it is abit underpowered in my opinion. The CRJ-700 and -900 has superior engines and a FADEC system to boot  Grin

But I prefer the big boys, flying the CRJ is nice (infact that's what I'll be doing in real life when I'm done with my aviaiton training), but nothing compares to the sound of a 565.000lbs Airbus 340-300 thundering down the runway and rotates majesticly to the skies  Smiley

Great shots as usual!  Agree with Dave...that last shot is the best and very realistic.
