Hi again,

My videos never seem to drum up much response. Probably, due to the fact they are big and a pain in the butt to download. I have tried to improve download times by compressing as much as I can. Unforunately, this one is even bigger than the last and will take approximately 4 minutes to download via cable.

This video has taken me 2 weeks to create whereas the other took about 20 minutes. This is a compelation of everything I have learned to this point. If any of you have 5 spare minutes, I highly recommend downloading this video. It was a lot of work in the making and I would love to have some feedback. It has been downloaded many times at the host site, but I truly value the opinions of the experts here at simviation and would love to see some replies.

The video is just over 7 minutes and spans the last 50 or so years in military aviation. Each era is done in the appropriate theme. The video quality itself is very high, which is why the large file size.

I'll stop begging now. Hope you enjoy. I myself am taking a little break from videos for a while. I think I'll get back to good old screen shots. (Far less work!!haha)

Nonono, I saw your first one and tried to write a response but it took me forever to post it???
It just kept loading and loading and laoding... Sad

I loved the first one, maybe a tad too much of the fast clips sequencing, felt like an MTV video or something Smiley
Will download the new video later on, I'm flying a charter route between AMS and Gran Canaria as we speak so I'm a little busy Smiley

take care!

Keep them coming. My favourite parts were the Spit/Corsair start and the F16/Eurofighter End. Grin
The only things i would change is more active camera ones rather than chase and more moving around/aerobatic stuff:D:D excellent
I especially loved the bit over the water , it looked so real but where was the English Electric Lightning  Shocked Roll Eyes

Hey thanks so much for the great replies. I really did put a lot of work into this one and it is great to get some feedback.

I agree, there where some things, I could change. Maybe more VC shots, some better manuevers, text describing aircraft, etc. I also think the last 2 songs where too "hard" for the video, but due to time constraints they where they only ones I could find and fit into the video.

Really glad you enjoyed it. I really enjoyed making it!

My next video, I plan to do a very realistic, in sequence flight with a commerical or business jet flight from 1 airport to another. More ATC, cockpits, traffic, etc.

Thanks again
Eric

Great work, ERic.  What did you use to create the efect of the tv?  I probably would have picked different music for the f-16 on, but I understand what you're saying.

More later.... Keep up the good work.

Thanks Boeingman,

I drew the television overlays in Photoshop and saved them as Targa's to preserve the transparancy in the center.

Glad you enjoyed.
