This has probably been asked before,but how do I get rid of the dismal music at the opening screens? With FB you can play without the CD but not CFS3,apparently.

Well, you seemed to ask two questions there. I dunno.

To get rid of the music, delete uimusic.wav in D:\Games\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3\sounds\ or wherever you installed CFS3.

Simviation has no CD patches for 3.1 here. I seem to recall there was a 3.0 patch as well, but I can't seem to find it.
