ARGH i want to cry  Cry infact i wll Cry Cry another airshow i had to miss due to scheduling.
Thanks for the pics they are really good. That tornado was a yeovil airshow last year. The germans sure can put it through its paces.

little bit of info many people dont know, the eurofighter typhoon is actually only allowed to operate to 80% of its abilities untill it is fully in service. Its that which impresses me most as at 100% you could only imagine what it could really do.

Craig. I doubt that it can operate at anything like 80% of its abilities at an air display. The speed is restricted to well below Mach 1 for a start. Now, if this had been Farnborough in the early 60s. Wink

this isnt just air displays but even in testing. And thats 80% in each specific area whether its speed manuvering and so on. Just going on was being told on a discovery channel show. obviously in displays as you rightly pointed out its limited in terms of speed, but in terms of some of the stunts it pulls off both at low speed and high speed, they arnt all its capable of.
