I'd like to try and make repaints, but there are some things i do not understand.

First of all, I've got CFS2 (of course), photoshop and DXTbmp.

Do I need something else?

Could someone please explain to me step by step hte process, from the original aircraft to the repaint flying and visible, or give me a link to a good tutorial in order to achieve this?

Thank you very much.

Hi Arnaud. Everyone has their own favourite methods for repainting. There is no right or wrong way of doing it. These tutes should give you the basic idea.

You might have some texture conflicts with aircraft configured with multiple-textures in CFS2. This was not overcome until FS2002 was released. The best method is to configure each repaint as a completely separate aircraft. This involves renaming the repainted textures & hex-editing the MDL file to recognise them.
