Just something that annoys me. I have my AI turned up to the max.. so there are a lot of planes flying around me. A lot of the times when I'm flying IFR, the ATC has planes land right in front of me, making me go around. The AI planes take forever to get off the runway. I think they come to a complete stop, then get off the runway. Does this happen to anyone else?

I usually fly VFR, and that sort of thing happens frequently, incl. unexplained go-arounds when runway is clear. (both me & atc traffic) also planes are left waiting for takeoff after landing AC are clear of runway.
ATC is obviously not perfected ... but it
s fun anyway

Yeah, its just another thing Microsoft has to work on
.
The AI is far from perfect, lets hope FS10 will solve this.

But will all those planes I downloaded be compatible? ???
Why can't they just fix the problem with a patch?
Oh, I forgot...we're talking Micro$oft here...

Yeah, same happens to me. The other day I was landing at KMIA with IFR and with clearance to land on my final and another plane flew underneath me and landed on my runway. So the ATC had me go around.

I'd rather Ms worked hard on FS10 then worry about patches to be honest.
Here is one of my favourite pics I took of AI:

nice picture!
once, when i was landing at KBOS with Milton's Aero Commander, there was a lot of traffic and the controller cleared a MD80 to land after me.
the problem is that the Aero Commander flies much slower than the MD80, so it wasn't long untill it caught up with me.
i had already landed and was about to clear the runway when i heard the tower say:
-Soar XXXX (the MD80), go around
he didn't!
then i heard:
-Soar XXXX, clear the runway! you are NOT cleared to land!
then i could hear what sounded like a big giant jetliner coming from behind
next thing i know, my aero commander was squashed like a bug on the winshield of the MD80
but that was in FS2002, i don't know if that kind of sh!t still happens

Wow, never heard of AI making un-authorised landings
, but things like that still happen.
