How do you resize gauges ? I'm trying to place a Cessna gauge in my Extra 300 panel and it a wee bit to large and overlaps other things ?

Thanks,

Here's a typical gauge entry in the Extra:

gauge07=Extra-300!Airspeed,184,5

Here's one from a Cessna:

gauge13=CESSNA!Turn_Indicator,  192,201,126,126

The last 2 numbers tell you the gauge's dimensions in pixels (x,y).  If they are missing, as in the Extra, the gauge will be displayed at its default dimensions.

The easiest way to edit it is with cfgEdit (free from cfgEdit.com) but you can futz around with the panel.cfg file in notepad until you get it right.  It's a nuisance saving it and restarting the sim but you can run the sim and notepad simultaneously, save the panel, switch to another AC, then switch back, which forces the sim to reload the panel, then re-edit ...

Cheesy

Thanks - When all else fails you read the instructions right ?  Well, I read Greekydeek's tutorial and it all became clear. Incidentally, that is one great piece of instruction he has on panels, etc. I highly recommend it to

8) 8) all.

I got this a few days ago and took a quick peek at it.  With 50+ items in my downloads folder it may be a while before it finds a permament place.  After reading your praise I've moved it to the top of the to do list.
