I am new to this forum. Hello everyone. Because of PC limitations I will be buying FS2002. Here are some questions I hope the folks on this forum can answer.
Does the FS2002 package include a Piper Cub sim?
If not, is one available as an add on? Can anyone tell me what single engine aircraft are included in the FS2002 package. While I am waiting for a response, I will be looking for a place to buy the software. Thanks for the help with this.

2002 does not have a cub but there are several here at Simviation that you can download. As far as SE aircraft.........Mooney, Cessna 172, 182, 208 and I think the Camel is still included.

.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......

There is no Piper Cub included in FS2002 ....... however there are freeware addons out there so you will be able to get one no problems.

Single engine default props are the some of the Cessna models .... and the Grumman F4F Wildcat. Once again theres hundreds of addons out there ...  Just have a good look in the downloads sections on this site and they are just the tip of the iceberg

cheers

A good choice of sim you have made! The best thing is CFS1, 2 and maybe 3 planes work in it, and FS2000 and 2004 also work. I dunno about the scenery though. To say what planes are involved we need to know whether you are buying the Pro version or not. The bottom line is that it gives you the crucial make mdl file if you are into add on making.

CFS 3 files aren't compatable with anything except CFS3.

Thank you all for the info. I will have to look around this site and see what is available. I have another concern. I currently have a Pentium 2, 400 Mhz machine with a Voodoo2 3D card, 128m of ram and plenty of hard drive space. Will this run FS2002? Thanks again.

If your Voodoo card is 8 MB, I'd upgrade soon to a 128 MB card. The graphics aren't as good with an 8 Meg card. But it will run. Good choice on Flight Sim 2002
