i hope to be able to go but i have two flights to the US to pay for in 2 months and my dad will be over 2 hours away from where i live. So it will be a last minute desicion. Hope so though

I was at Fairford last year ......... got in for nowt too ..... Unfortunately I had a falling out with the coach company that I drove for so wont be doing it this year  Embarrassed Embarrassed Cry
The one thing that amazed me was how the Americans had everything closed up and armed guards round. The Brits...... on the other hand .... "Ayup mate are ya a coach driver? ........ here see what this is like to drive!!" ... I was in and out of cockpits all day but alas and alack the camera I had then fataly malfunctioned in an intense rainstorm during the day and it fried the memory card.

now a B-2 has confirmed a fly over (again)...5 USAF bombers will be present as RIAT this year, three of them will fly!  8)

Thanks to a screw up i will now not be attending fairford, but will be in america, which will also mean i wont be able to attend any airshows this season Cry

well im most certainly ganna be there looking forward to seeing a brand spanking new F-18 Super Hornet boeing is bringing along sounds like its going to be in the flight display line up. Ill make sure i take me cam last time i took well over 200 pics im gonna go for more this year getting a bigger card for me cam.  Grin  Grin  Grin

very smart afsoc! i ordered a X-Drive image tank with 40Gb of hard drive! believe me, i can store many photos on that one...around 4000 i think when i shoot in RAW!  8)

Boeing is sending their Hornet test pilot Ricardo... or whatever his name is. he was on National Geographic in the 'test pilots' episode. he acted like a crazy fool, but he sure knows how to fly that bug!  Wink

i'm not sure, but that sounds expensive!!! i paid €330 including a charter flight from Schiphol so i can't compare, but still, £125 is alot!  Shocked
