have you noticed on some flight plans that you programme, when you start your approaches with fs2004 you have to make your owm heading to reach the airport. in fs2002 pro the flight plan takes you directly in line of the runway. does anybody know why? ???

I didn't quite understand your question but I'll try to answer it-
It's not ATC's job to get you perfectly lined up with the runway.  They have you angling towards the runway at about 30 degrees and then they turn the approach over to you.  Its your job to lign up perfectly with the runway
