sad the engines aren't attached to it yet. i'd like to see it standing next to another plane too (A340, 747) so we can actually see how big it is!  Wink

Enough with the Titanic already!  Grin

This airframe will not fly anyways - it will be tested to destruction.

Some more shots for you:

I think the word your looking for is "flexible". The're probably a lot stonger than a lot of other wings out there.

What makes a wing look breakable exactly? I'm sure airbus have done their sums!

It looks fine to me so far. One thing BAe is good at is building wings. At least it all fits together - so far anyway. Am I the only one here who finds this an impressive achievement? Roll Eyes

I hardly think there are going to be any major problems at all.

Don't forget that for a modern airliner, everything is designed and tested before the first 6016 T-6 is cut.

Even the design and manufacturing process will have been carefully designed and tested before the 1st factory was built. When you are spending that much money, you leave nothing to chance.

lol it was more of a joke.
Strange sense of humor i have, people who know me comment on it all the time.
I said from the first showing of the pictures months ago, that i cant wait to see this thing fly. I know it will, bigger planes have flown so i dont see this one being any differant. I am not an airbus fan but if this does really take off(pardon the pun) as a good airline addition, airbus will have done a better than good job.
