Continuing my trip. Along the cliff tops. It's a tad bumpy here.
...

Turning back inland. That town must be Eastbourne. Hastings & Dover in the distance.
...

I think that's Firle Beacon. It used to be the home of the Southdown Gliding Club. They launched gliders from the hill with a bungee in the early days. Lots of activity round here now with hang-gliders & paragliders. We spotted one just below the clouds, much higher than us. I took a shot but it's just a tiny speck.
...
...

Heading for home. There's the airstrip dead ahead.
...
...
...
...

What a nice surprise that was. Thanks very much Gordon. Cheesy

A great start to a most enjoyable day out. I spotted some R/C modellers on the airstrip & spent the rest of the day with them. More old friends. Wish I'd brought sandwiches & a drink. I only expected be be away for a couple of hours when I left home. Funny how things turn out sometimes. Roll Eyes Wink

What can I say.....I know exactly how you feel Doug...thanks for sharing it with us...... 8)

I love those approach shots as they make believers of those who have never had the opportunity to see a landing from that vantage point.  Grin

No Craig. I'm not too fussed about that these days. I was too busy with my camera & content just to be up there in that delightful little plane. Cheesy

Well, I spent my day killing my kneecaps and antifouling a boat. I'm still covered in red paint.

It's alright for some I suppose... Roll Eyes Grin

Yeah i know that feeling quite well, when my father tells me the neighbour wants too go flying a round, but has no passengers (he lets us fly with him for cheap) then its great. Than the nice Piper Pa-28-181 D-EIWB waiting @ EDVY (Porta-Westfalica)...
Oh, and than in the air, usually i can sit behind the whell one time, too and than i can do some bit, too. Itīs quite very funny, but most when there a lot of wind and turbulences...  8) Uh, I pretty like that.

Thatīs the thing, a nice Archer II
...

Some Flying, itīs some City in Germany
...

Thatīs what we saw in Oberhausen, a nice old Cessna, I think itīs some 140 ?
...

And thats me some days later, me and my RC Plane, short before Takeoff
