Night texture not working (Read 148 times)

Hi all,

I have an afterburner animation in my project, and I'm having some trouble getting the night texture to work properly.

I have the texture tagged in FSDS v2 as a night texture like so ..


...


... in daylight in FS it looks like this....


...



at night it looks like this... ...


can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong...

You might try re naming it engine_32_L.bmp and reapplying to part.I havn't used FSDSv2 much yet.Is the "N"suppose to be there?Maybe engine_32_LM.bmp

I re-named the texture as a light map texture  ( _ L) , and also used a slightly emissive material for the part.

this seems to work fine..

...
