Hey guys,

I've got a big problem here.

For the past few weeks, all of the aircraft i have made do this really crazy thing in FS, i'll explain:

Just as usual, i export my plane, and put it in FS. When i do different camera actions in FS like change to side veiws, or zoom, etc, the aircraft "blinks" one second i see it the next second i don't. It's extremely annyoing and i've not any idea how 2 fix it.

Can someone please help,

Thanks,

Mike

Possibility: Have you updated the drivers for your video card recently?

Mike the drivers Felix is talking about are for your video card.
If you just updated these try going back to the old one 8) Otherwise check to see if you drivers are out of date  8)

Hi Mike
No they don't mean DirectX
Your system has an addon video card(or onboard video) which has drivers for it, from time to time they get updated by the manufacture of you video card/motherboard.Directx is a part of the OS which plugs all the gaming devices together  (video, sound, controllers ect)so games writers can write code quicker with more bugs Cheesy(ahh the days of dos when we had to do this ourselves)
Ok so Ive got of topic Smiley to your problem,in FS9 goto setup~display~hardware uncheck the render to texture box and see if that fixes the problem.
Regards
MaV

I think I know what you mean and it's not a driver problem.

Sometimes if you get "too close" to a model with a small wingspan (compared to length) the model can "flash" in and out of existence. Dunno why, but it goes away when you texture it.

PS, why is your sig sooooo long, it really messes with the formatting on these pages!
