Okie dokie, i have done a check total of 28 photos. will spread them over as few posts as i can in line with the rules.
I have larger copies of each picture should anyone want them. I will try to add locations for each but ifi dont just ask and i will let ya know
gazzelle medicine hat alberta sunset
gazzelle falklands during the war
no idea on all counts except that its alberta again
lancaster, dont know where though
airborne gazzelle i believe above the plains of medicine hat
snowy medicine hat
not aviation but thought it was cool, the saddle dome
All photos i will be posting were taken by my dad, various cameras, most of the canadian ones were taken with the camera i now use

Interesting photos Craig.
I like the sunset. Shame about the Lanc. Almost criminal I'd call it. Looks like an Anson in the background in much the same condition if not worse.

thank you hagar, the Lanc in the pic there was in pretty good condition, apart form the broken windows, and a few dents it looks to be in one piece(i have a second photo from the side, will post tomorow)

OK. Thanks. From that angle it looks like the tail is raised off the ground & the nose is resting on the barbed wire.
I would be interested to know when & where these shots were taken. Also what happened to the aircraft since. The Lanc is possibly the one restored by the Canadian Warplane Heritage.

Doug, from the other pics i have all being taken in Canada its a very good chance that it is the one in the link you posted. if it is then it was taken sometime between 85 and 89 i will ask my dad to confirm it

Just spoken to my dad, the lancaster was from the nanton lancaster society or something like that and was taken in 1987

OK. Thanks Craig. It's possibly the same aircraft. I shall have to check into its history. I wouldn't think there were too many Lancs around even in 1987.
