Well, alright, flying ships then...

Had a weird experience the other day. I downloaded the German Heavy Cruiser from the CombatFS site - didn't have much luck in getting the associated mission to work properly but... a few days later, on patrol at about 5,000 feet over the English Channel, looking for bombers,  I suddenly see a 'flight' of heavy cruisers, tumbling end-over-end towards me! Unfortunately they all crashed into the sea before I could get a shot in - no wings, you see...

5,000 feet, full flaps, throttle down, head down, butt up, here we go! NoooseDiiiiiive!!!

Did you put the Heavy Cruiser in the aircraft folder my mistake?  That's the only thing I can thing of that would cause this to happen.

Yes, I did - and removed it pretty sharply after my x-files experience! Really funny though - At first I thought it was a group of disembodied wings flying towards me, then I worked out what they were...

Once agian I've also had the same problem and here is the solution
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=cfs3;action=display;num=10...

1. In other words go into you CFS3/Aircraft/ folder

2. open up the ships folder open up the ships .XPD file

3. look for "AllowSpawn=" change it from "AllowSpawn=y" to "AllowSpawn=n"

that make that boat/plane/etc not randomly spawn During the game

hope that helps
