I remember back in the days of DOS I had msfs (fs5) and an add-on program from MS that was called Microsoft Flight Simulator Aircraft and Scenery Designer.(I still have the disks) The reason I bring this up is that it was very easy to use. Just fly or slew to a location and start building scenery. You could type in the length and width of the runway, what heading you wanted and what markings, and what color markings and presto it was there. Then you could go to an overhead view and just draw in taxiways, parking areas, and refueling areas. Tell it what size and type building you wanted and drop it where you wanted it with a mouse click. Add runway lighting, inner and outer markers, a radio antenna, some fuel storage tanks complete with red and white checkers, and wellah, you had an airport. I'm sure these were all default pieces, but it sure was fun putting an airport in the field beside my house.
The reason for all this rambling, is there a similar scenery designer out there for fs9?  ???

The hurrier I go the behinder I get!

LAGO's FSEnhancer uses exactly the same way of creating scenery, but sadly,it's payware.
For a freeware solution,I'd recommend FS Scenery Creator. It's avaiable on every major flightsim site and works almost like FS Enhancer.
