Im sure there is another thread somewhere in Music like this, but this is more recent. Who is your favorite musician/band?

Mine would have to be U2. After 20+ years, they are still as strong as day 1.

You bet ya! They sing a lot of general stuff as well.  For example a song called Mood Rings about girls moods.  It is hilarious, and they also sing passionaetly about the love of Jesus Christ and how he can and is saving ppl around the world.

Mood Rings

We all know the girls
That I am talking about
Well They are Time Bombs and They are ticking,
And the only questions when theyll blow up,
And theyll blow up we know that without a doubt
cuz theyre those girls yea you know those girls
that let their emotions get the best of them.

and ive contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man
lets get emotional girls to all wear mood rings
so well be tipped off to when their ticked of
cuz we will know just what theyre thinking
what they thinking

and it continues for a few more verses and it is so funny.

Paul.

My favourite musicians...?
I don't even know their names, but I recognise their music...
A dark-coloured gentleman, sitting on a rocking chair, on a veranda, in the Deep South, strumming a beaten-up six-string acoustic guitar and playing the 12-bar Blues...!
Then I get my guitar out and play a duet along with him... 8)...!
...sheer magic... Grin...!
