I've heard that, supposedly, you can sync the weather with your real conditions if you have internet access.  Obviously, I do, and I'm wondering if this is true, and if so, how do I do this?

(It seems like I have a ton of questions...)

I'm not sure this is possible in CFS2. If it is I know nothing about it. Maybe you've been reading about the Real Weather feature in FS2002 or FS2004.

Hi,

Yes it is possible but you need to use a thrid party plug-in to achieve this.

Unfortunately, the plug-ins are payware but I have seen an old version available from a couple of sites!

The applications you are looking for are either ActiveSky or FSMeteo.

Try searching for these in Google.

You will also require FSUIPC. This is a plugin that allows any of the M$ flight sims to talk to third party application.

Basically, you run ActiveSky or FSMeteo in the background and your location in the sim is feed to it via FSUIPC.

This works in free flight, missions and multiplayer.

It works very well although the winds at altitude leave a little to be desired!
I have an older version of ActiveSky so this may have improved!

I hope this helps!
