UVW mapping (Read 138 times)

Looking for some help with mapping. I have applied the maps using a multi material and individual UVW maps for each of the individual sub materials, then used the UVW unwrap function for positioning. In Gmax all is well (image1) but in CFS3 the texturing is completely up the spout(image2). Any direction offered would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you've converted your textures using that M$ image tool?
It has the nasty habit to flip textures around.
You don't need it at all.
If you're using either photoshop or paintshop, use the nividia dds plugin to convert your stuff.

Thats correct I have used the MS image tool. I'll try your suggestion now.

That was just great. I’ve been fr%$&g around with the texture mapping for about 4 weeks now and you just saved my bacon. Thanks dude.
Now I can get back on track.
