Pete,

I can no longer download the terrain files.  I have got as far as EA37 and can't seem to get any more of them.  From what I have seen so far they are bloody brilliant.  Is there a server issue?

I have tried at various times of the day for two days with no luck.

Sorry for the hassle

Will

Yes - a problem does indeed seem to have occured!

To be honest this whole procedure is testing  a new download method & obviously work still needs to be done to get it right.  It was working fine at 1st but seems to now be preventing ftp access via http. So far I cannot see why this has happened.

I've already made several changes to the FTP server so far & will continue to try to resolve the problem. If I allow unlimited access to these files it would be disastrous. The general huge file sizes of today combined with increased site usage are causing major problems.

Meanwhile I apologise

Seems to be working now. I had to reboot the file server. The ftp downloads are still in beta testing stage & all reports are welcome. thanks  8)
