Just wondering, are ther any programs available that can decompile FS9 aircraft files and turn them into , say, g-max or FSDS files that you can edit later? It would make it much easier, if you wanted to make small changes to an aircraft, instead of having to build them from the ground up.

So far, there isn't any such decompiler released ... that I've seen.
The existing decompilers will work on old style = FS95/FS95 based mdl files.

muhmuhmuh isnt erm.. ah i'm tired.. erm.. reverse engineering slightly against laws\ copyrights\ quite taboo without prior consent?
if you want the easiest way to get a source file.. email the designer(s) lol. i'm sure 99% people will be willing to help.

Hello Dan,
reverse engineering, especially in Europe and UK, is permitted by law. We are reverse engineering Boeing flight SW here for one of our aircraft.
The copyright only applies to the source material and decompiling does not produce that at all, in law.
