Here is a bit of my world....one day a couple of yrs ago, 2002 in April, Wendy and I took a drive 'round to Comox and spent a little time on a Saturday morn and shot a few images at the Comox Marina....10 mins away from where we live.........

....this is the view back towards Courtenay........

...........and this view shows the mountains of the island......

..........on the left you can see the Comox Glacier, beyond Comox Lake on Vancouver Island
...

Low tide has all the boats sitting much lower than the pier we are on................
...

Maximum zoom on the camera produces this shot of a single sailboat, and in the distance, you can see the old Royston pier which has since been removed from the shore of Vancouver Islands east coast.
...

..........and this last image of a solitary Gull, which when flying, can be such an inspiration to would-be aviators, such as all of us simmers..........
