Hello All! I was installing some old aircraft from my FS2002 to FS2004 and I inadvertantly overwrote my FSSOUND.DLL file. And now whenever I lauch FS2004 I get an error saying that its found a file (FSSOUND.DLL) that is not compatible. "Do you want to load this software?"

Could someone email me the FSSOUND.DLL file from FS2004?!

Please email it to wmu316@hotmail.com

Thanks!

all you need to do is add the following line to your fs9 cfg file
[Old Modules]
fssound.dll=1
this will solve your error message problem.
and I wont swear to it but I do not think that this file is on any of the fs9 disks. If it is it would be on disk 1 in the game1.cab file as the other disks have only scenery on them

Ok am I going nuts here! First, I could not find the FSSOUND.DLL file anywhere on any of the disks...

Secondly, I cannot find any FS9.CFG ANYWHERE!! I am losing it or what?!

So if someone could email me the FSSOUND.DLL file that would be great or tell me where my FS9.CFG file is!?

Signed,

Losing it
