hi there im currently 'tinkering' with a 757 in fsdsv2 and almost there now added winglets and reduced the back end a little with a restyled tail and nose, its kinda like a mixture between my 2 favourite aircraft the 737 and 757.....anyways i have stumbled across a problem here and prob best if i put it in a screenshot

...

as you can see the entire front end of the fuselage has become transparent and all i did was save it. im not sure how to get around this problem so any ideas would be appreciated thanks

also another thing in the readme that came with the source file that i am using and kinda learning from it says i can do whatever i want with it except sell it... now can i upload this when i am finished with it? i know a huge part of the work must be credited to the original designer and this i will include but is it ok to upload it?

1 - are your cockpit windows a part of the front fuse section?  If so, when you applied the transparency to the selected window polygons "only" the material got applied to the rest of the part.

If this is the case, detach the window polys from the front fuselage part, and reapply the opaque material.

Another possibility is that when applying the texture's alpha to the front fuselage part, you did not check the  " Reflect"  box.

2.  If you got the source file from Freeflight Design Shop (FFDS), you CAN upload your changed file, with proper credit where credit is due.

thank you felix but no the cockpit is entirely seperate to the fuselage and the reflect is ticked in the alpha box.

also i have not touched the textures in a few days

the last thing i did was to add another point to the front near the window then noticed it was totaly transparent.. this also happened with the wing when i added another point in point mode... any ideas?? i am kinda new to fsdsv2 so any specific instructions will be appreciated

thanx
