Hi all

Does anyone know of a good quality Leeds bradford airport scenery for 2004. I live close to the airport and so want it more realistic.

i have found good manchester ones etc but there seems to be a lack of scenery for this airport.

Matt, don't get hung up on 'FS9'. Paul Baines has done a great FS2002 scenery that needs a little bit of tweaking but then it works fine.

See Poll Hill in the distance in this next shot

I had to do a new AFCAD to get everything to line up and had to change the level of the airport because AI were about 2 feet into the ground. But as you can see, the results make the effort worth it.

I haven't uploaded anything but I will put the files on my website when I get a bit of time. But it won't be until well into next week I'm afraid ...... unless you can find something else in the meantime of course  Wink

Hi Roger...!
Well done with the pics...!
One of my sons lives close to Leeds/Bradford airport, and when I visit him I often pop over to the airfield.
The flying school is in the middle left of the last pic... 8)...!
It's just a shame that the rest of Leeds and Horsforth are nowhere to be seen.... Cry...!
Still, thats Uncle Bill's English scenery for you... Roll Eyes...!
...(what scenery..?...)
LOL...!

Cheers Roger...!

Paul.

P.S. I tried installing the UK scenery mesh and the airfield became situated on a plateau with cliffs surrounding it... Shocked.....!
So that didn't work...!
LOL...!

Hiya Paul

Know what you mean but otherwise this is pretty good scenery. Years ago I flew into Leeds a few times but can't remember much what it looked like - and I was completely sober at the time!

Mind you must have changed a bit since then - you know, no earth runways and stuff like that Wink

Ole Paul Baines has done some good stuff but I don't remember seeing anything for 2004
