If my FS2002 disc has an error how could I take it back to get a  new one...by an error I don't mean ATC being a little screwed up....I mean the simulation rate is way off even at a simulation rate of 1....the ratio is 1:3.3....(thats just an exmple) but it is very mest up....today I am reloading the game to see if it will work...if not how can I exchange it for a new CD?

Hi jrpilot. FS2002 will run quite happily without a CD in the drive. I doubt there's a problem with the CDs themselves. If everything installs OK & the sim runs they can't be messed up. If this problem has just appeared it's most likely caused by something else on your system.

Have you recently installed something in your PC? If you have lots of applications running in parallel ther resources of your system may run out causing FS not being able to run properly. You can check which application are running by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
There is also another possibility that you may have spy applications or trijans running on your PC. An easy way to remove them is using AdAware which can be found as freeware on the internet (at least I had this problem).

Ya. But getting AdAware is helpful anyways. It's incredible how much crap builds up on your PC, though AdAware caught more cookies and helpful program things on my computer than anything else. (Ever gotten that screen, Microsoft Flight Simulator has encountered a problem...? AdAware catches that because it connects to the internet and sends data.)
