Hey guys...

Simple question I guess. The nose gear on my 747-400 (standard Fs2004 ones with replacement textures) will periodically just break, causing the front end of my aircraft to go crashing into the ground. Strangely, this will happen when I'm just taxing around at 1-2 knots in a straight line, putting no stress on anything. There is no mention of the aircraft being overstressed, the first I know of it is when i disappear into the concrete?! Am i missing somthing or is this a bug of some description? No other aircraft do this

Thanks heaps
James

Hi James,

Welcome to Simviation Smiley

Does this happen if you fly one of the default 747 paints?  If not its possible the aircraft.cfg for the add-ons has been changed, and either the nose gear has been 'weakend' or the loads changed putting to much stress on the gear.

What repaint(s)?, d/l file name or d/l description.

Also check your Aircraft/Realism settings. Unchecking 'aircraft stress causes damage' may help until the problem can be found.

Cheers,
Dave
