Ever hear of "Eagle Brand" video cards?
They sound like a brand of Shrimp Paste..... but the cards look great and I've been running them faultlessly for almost 3 yrs now.
I've seen many an Asus mainboard fry, IBM hard disks are notorious and then there are Logitech joysticks....
So, where is the percieved quality with Brand?
Proprietry brand mass marketed PC's are full of crap hardware, but 95% of people buy them.... even my Sony CDROMS will die just past their warranty period!
Some stuff looks like junk, even from a photo on the web, and I wouldn't touch it mind you.
But, hey, if the guys in the link are supplying a great video card at less than half the cost of everyone else, what's going on? (congo imagines Asian sweatshops!)
If the price IS real, it bodes well for us all, as others will surely have to drop prices soon.
