We finally got the pictures back that my son took at the monster truck show last month. That show rocked!
They warmed us up with some Dirt Bike racing
Then the big boys came out for a bit
Then a bit of quad-runners racing
El Toro Loco racing. He seemed afraid of messing up his truck. Must have been saving it for next time.

Avenger and Grave Digger
Blacksmith wins his heat
Heading out of the arena
Another one from Grave Digger vs. Avenger

Actually, my son took the pictures. We were indoors and in the nosebleed seats, so quite a ways back from the action. He shot everything on his K-1000 that I gave him. Since he had never used one before, I preset it for him and all he had to do was focus. It was on 200 speed film at 5.8 x 1/60th second. I wanted to go 125, but wasn't too sure about the light. Give him a break, he's new.
And yes, it was a really small arena. I want to see a real show in a huge place sometime.
