Hi there,
I have just finished my first serious video of FS2004. I used Fraps to record the movie. The movie consists of all the best freeware fighters in FS9 doing what they do best. It is just over 7 minutes long and has a great soundtrack. It is hosted over at "Simradar". I would love to hear what you guys think!! One last thing, if it is studdery to start, make sure to let it rebuffer itself cause when it is running properly the entire video is very smooth. Just give it a minute! Hope you enjoy!
Eric

Hi Meinas,
I just clicked on the link and the video is playing great. No pixelation and runs smooth. Could be that it plays different on different computers? Anyway, make sure you click below the main streamed image to open the video in its own window. That way you can manipulate the progression bar to rebuffer if necessary. Once it gets going though, it runs great!

Wish I could upload it somewhere for download. My website does not have enough space and I don't know anyone that will accept an over 60mb file. If you do, let me know!!

Thanks
Eric

I think I figured out why you guys are having trouble watching the video. I put a direct link to the video page above and it is not giving the video the proper time to load. I am going to give another link, this time to the main video index page.

*Please scroll down to my video called "Ultimate FS9 Military Jet Compilation" and click. Once on the page, click stop if the video loads automatically. Then click on the bottom of the page where it says "open video in its own window". Then hit play!!

I know this is a pain in the ass, but where else can you find someone to host a 60mb movie!! It really is worth all the trouble if you get to see the movie, I promise.

Eric i done it the way you said but still the same thing.i dont get it cause i watch full movies on line with my cable connection and no problems.i did try another flick F-14 screaming into the dusk and no go there either.at the start is those jets taking off because it just looks like screen shots though the hole thing.i am useing the free version of real-player that may be the diffrence on my end.fsfreeware use to host sim videos i dont know if they still do or not you might check into that and see.

if you can set yours up like this one it shows fine on my system.you can check it out at the link.

i just seen a 74,4 mb video at fsfreeware so theres you a place to go with it.

Thanks so much EA
I will give that a try right away. I e-mailed the guys at "Simradar" and they said it could be an encoding problem which is why the movie is inconsistent. They are going to take a look.
Anyway, if your idea works, I'll be a very happy guy. I will also be uploading all my new videos in very low quality versions to my website soon. That is kind of a last resort, but at least it will get them out there!
Thanks
Eric

eric,
that vid was great man. nice edits and transitions too. the GA aircraft that came stock are ok but let's face it, nothin beats 400 kts at 200 ft agl (or less Wink ) in a military fighter. nice work!
