What type of cable is it? One that you might be able to strip and resolder back together?

I would definately call their repair/service department, or check around the local area for help before I began to rework the cable myself...

Most cables can be pretty easy, but video cable is VERY tough to work with....(Been there done that, without much luck..)

Hope you get it fixed soon! Smiley

My local PC store fixed a faulty monitor, it had a bad connection in the cables vga plug. They simply replaced the cable, it cost me £10.

Then again, you can easily pick up a 2'nd hand monitor for £10........

Hope this helps,

Paul.

Thanks for the reply but in this country (Portugal ) they dont do that they just try to sell you a new monitor.
And wen you ask for the cable its worst than ARMAGEDEON for them.
.....Oh we have to contact the vendor and they dont give us spares, you know the talk right.
Many thanks Undecided

If you can find a computer repair shop there some where.that would be your best bet if not order it online or though the mail.
