Yesterday, just like so many days before that, my TCAS guage, regardless of aircraft, used to glow with AI activity.
Today... Nothing, Nada, Rien!!!
Any clues?
I've been tailing stuff and it just isn't there on the screen.
Many thanks.

Do you still have FSUIPC installed?

It could be a problem with either:
AI. Do you see and hear AI aircraft?
The TCAS gauge (I assume f16.gau).
FSUIPC.
If you can rule out a problem with the AI then you can just download a new gauge or FSUIPC.

Interesting that you should mention FSUIPC. Late yesterday I updated to Ver. 3.14.
As suggested, I deleted the original .ini file. Could this be the key to my woes?

These 3 items were in the original fsuipc.ini file:
TCASid=Flight
TCASrange=40
TCASbyTailNumbers=No
Only the first 2 entries appeared in the new .ini file.
Hope this helps.

Have just restored old .ini file but it makes no difference.

For 02 I would go back to the last 2.xx version. You are probably having registration problems. If you don't have it or can't dl it send me an email and I'll send it to you (I think it's legal to do that).

You're right on the money, look what I just found on Eric Marciano's site:
Question:
I am using FSUIPC 3.0 or higher, and the radar doesn't show any aircraft.
Answer:
FSUIPC is payware since version 3.0 and requires an accreditation for freeware gauges. From my point of view, it means that I have to update the gauge code to make them compatible with the new FSUIPC. I didn't have the time to do it. The updated gauges will be uploaded on my web site soon.
I will now have a trawl for a 2.x ver of FSUIPC.
Many thanks.

If you had an email address in your profile I could have sent you the file. I'm about to sign out for the night so maybe tomorrow if you can't find it anywhere else. You don't need 3.xx for FS2002. I have 2.975, the last 2.xx
