I am not getting any sound on ATC , I have the traffic at 80% . I have no AI installed. but before I was able to see planes at airport (a few) and hear the controller talk to other traffic, now I dont hear anything other than communication to me.

Thanks,
Dave

That is usually dependent on where the airport is or it seems that way with me.  I have flown out of hong kong several times and I barely here traffic communications and that is at 100%.  I am pretty sure that if you where to follow an aircraft that was taxiing to a run way you would here it request to take off.  It may also be a matter of which airport you are listening to as some have very little in and out traffic to begin with(such as some airfields in Alaska).

What is that smell??? Is that...........................BACON!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Thanks, Squall, I dont think thats the reason. On my last computer I could hear communication from tower to planes even at Austin Bergstrom which is not a very big airport. Now I have even tried O'hare and La Guardia to see if I could catch traffic there, but haven't been able to.
I suspect its something to do with my setting, even tho I have done all the obvious ones.
Maybe others wil have some ideas.
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Jim, it looks like you know what the problem is.
I am a newbie and not that much into computers.
Can you be a little more specific in how I delete and restore from cd?

Thanks,

Dave

I know what the problem is because the same thing happened to me and that's how I fixed it.

Just use windows explorer to delete it.  Then copy it back from CD2\scenedb\atc\scenery\traffic.bgl.

Hi Jim,
I fianlly have time to work on my ATC.
I found the files \scenedb\atc\scenary\ ....... but it ends there I couldn't fine traffic.bgl. Is it supposed to be in that string?
Will I be able to copy these indiviual files from the disk?

Thanks,

Dave
