I have a problem with textures in CFS 2.  I have just today purchased the game only to descover that there is a major amount of colour disortion in the textures of objects and  I have adjusted the graphics several times and to no avail.

This includes all planes (mine included), buildings craters and virtual cockpits.  I have been using flight simulator products for a few years now and never encountered this sort of problem.  The most recent version of FS I have is 2002 and CFS2 is the most recent CFS version I have.

I am also using DirectX 9b

Squall. Can you post your system specs including the graphics card & display resolution you're using.

Nevermind.  I know for a fact that I have a crappy video card (not sure what it is though) and I overlooked this when I changed my setting.  I had selected all three texture filtering methods and this inturn caused the unusual color distortion in the objects.  I turned of the filters and now everything is fine=)
