I assume you mean 3rd party scenery. Some might work OK. The only way to find out is to try it. Providing it's installed correctly & activated via the Scenery Library it will do no harm & is easily deleted. Updates to existing FS2002 airports will obviously be no use. I always thought it best to use proper CFS2 scenery where possible.

PS. I've never tried it but wouldn't expect the FS2002 default scenery to be compatible with CFS2.

Too funny... I don't mean to laugh, but I just got done wrecking my CFS2 installation by trying to import FS2002 scenery into CFS2.  If you guys have any luck, let me know. Wink

You don't say if this was default or 3rd party scenery. I've already said that I wouldn't expect the FS2002 default scenery to be compatible with CFS2.

If it was 3rd party scenery this would depend on how you installed it. Providing you install it separately & activate each new area via the Scenery Library, no scenery should do any permanent harm. If there's a conflict or other problem, simply delete it from the Scenery Library.

For the correct way to install 3rd party scenery to CFS2 (or any other M$ sim) read my tute here. http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2scenclinc.htm
