Hello!
Can anyone tell me what the course setting is used for on the 737.  I seem to be able to fly fine using only the heading control?

COURSE: will TRACK the VOR/LOC course, and making corrections to stay on that course.

HEADING: Aircraft will just maintain selected heading, it wont ground track the heading, hence expect winds to blow you offset from desired course.
