I tried to fly from Ronald Reagan Intl Airport (KDCA) and it didn't show up.  I just moved the Washington, DC scenery area up from about #48 to #15 in the scenery list.  It showed up.  Being in the list already, regardless of its position in the scenery list, why wouldn't it show up on the map?  Why didn't it show up on the GPS?  And, why, when I tried to fly from it, did it show up on the list, but not have an active runway from which to fly?
This is an unusual behavior.  In fact, when I had FS2002 up and running, AND had AFCAD up and running, the airport came back blank in AFCAD.

I haven't a clue why that would happen.  FS2k2 does that sort of thing sometimes.  I just smile, nod and arrange some therapy for it.

Have you installed any new scenery that may have sat on to of it and obscured from view?

I think it may have cleared the cache or something.  That's my only guess.  I haven't installed any new scenery, but have been tweaking the snot out of airports without control towers using AFCAD.  Nice program. Grin
