Hi Sam. First you might not realise there are many default water runways included in FS2002. Look around Alaska & Florida.

For the glider, either:

Select a power plane & take off. Change it for the glider when you get to the required location/altitude.
OR
Select the glider & use Slew mode (Hit Y) to raise it (Hit Q). Hit Y again to return to normal mode.

You can save the flight from the menu bar at this point using either method.

PS. There might a default glider flight already set up.

If your into gliders take a look here: http://www.fszwever.com/ theres a program that allows a simulated winch launch through some pretty clever witch-craft 8)

A guy named Rob Barendregt has written a gauge that simulates a tow launch (I think) - available over at (cough, cough) Avsim. Do a search on his name and you'll find it.

This feature was included in the original Flight Unlimited in 1995, complete with tug plane. I would have thought M$ could have come up with something similar by now. Roll Eyes
